Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your charter

Any cancellation must be communicated to us in writing - an email to info@yachtsailing.com is enough.

Payments already made are non-refundable, unless the yacht is successfully re-chartered for the same charter period.

Re-chartering

If you cancel, we make reasonable efforts to charter the yacht again for the same dates. If we succeed, the amount recovered from the replacement charter is refunded to you, after deducting any reasonable costs, commissions or price reduction needed to secure the new booking, and never more than you originally paid.

Re-chartering cannot be guaranteed, so please plan on the basis that payments made may not be returned.

Payment schedule

Unless your charter documentation says otherwise, 40% of the charter fee is due on booking and the remaining 60% is due 45 days before embarkation. For bookings made more than one year in advance, different payment stages may apply and will be stated in your charter documentation. All payments are made in EUR.

Protect your holiday

We strongly recommend trip cancellation and travel insurance for every guest. The yacht's own insurance does not cover your personal travel, medical or cancellation costs.
